Houston Chronicle: Former Venterra Realty exec forms Hilltop Residential apartment venture

From The Houston Chronicle article by Katherine Feser

“Former Venterra Realty executive Greg Finch  has launched Hilltop Residential to acquire and renovate multifamily properties in Texas and the southern U.S., the new company announced.

Hilltop Residential will initially invest in properties in Houston and throughout Texas, targeting regions with strong demographics and employment growth. It will seek out Class A or B properties, built since 1990.

Max Monzon, formerly of Raintree Resorts International, and Brad Kosley, formerly with Cushman & Wakefield, have been hired as vice presidents.

Finch, the former co-founder and president of Venterra Realty, led Venterra’s U.S. business for the past 15 years. Under his leadership, Venterra acquired 100 properties and 25,000 multi-family apartment units valued at more than $4.2 billion. The company has properties in Texas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.

Finch has sold his interests in Venterra and most of his interests in its properties to Venterra’s two remaining partners.”
