Managing Partner Greg Finch

Greg is the Founder & Managing Partner of Hilltop Residential.

Prior to Hilltop Greg was a cofounder and President of Venterra Realty from its inception in 2001 to 2016. During his tenure at Venterra Greg was involved in all facets of the multifamily business including acquisitions, finance, renovation, management and dispositions. At Venterra Greg built extensive relationships with institutional lenders and equity providers such as Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Bank of America, Met Life, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan, PPM, Hartford Life, Lincoln Life, 4086, PNC, GE, Lehman Brothers, Thackeray Partners, Dome Equities and Canyon Johnson.

Greg’s professional background includes extensive experience in all facets of commercial and multi-family real estate, and many years of experience in Natural Resource Management. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Marketing from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Psychology from Trinity Western University.

Greg has been married to his wife, Petra, for 30 years and has 3 boys, Jordan, Jackson and Max.

Managing Partner David Wylie

David is the Founder & Managing Partner of Hilltop Residential.

David has been in the multifamily investment business since 2000, having received national recognition for his performance in the apartment market across Texas and the United States. During his 23 years in the industry, David has been involved in over $15 billion of multifamily transactions. David’s deep relationships in the industry, as well as his extensive experience in identifying investment opportunities, are integral pieces to the Hilltop team.

David attended The University of Texas where he studied business and Spanish and spent two semesters in Argentina developing his Spanish language communication skills and furthering his education. He is actively involved at Second Baptist Church, is an active member of NMHC (National Multifamily Housing Council),ULI (Urban Land Institute), and serves on the Regional Advisory Council with Apartment Life.

David has been married to his wife, Nona, for 20 years and has 3 boys, Charlie, Ben and John, and a girl, Margaret.

Regional Manager Lindsay Ardillo

As a Regional Manager of Hilltop Residential, Lindsay is responsible for the implementation of the property management strategy that supports Hilltop’s Core Values in our Georgia markets.

Lindsay joined Hilltop in 2021 with eight years of experience in the multifamily industry. She’s managed many different asset styles and overseen a variety of asset enhancement projects including repositions, technology package rollouts, and keyless lock system integration. Lindsay prides herself in building strong and cohesive teams who work together to create the best living experience for their residents. She also enjoys investing in her team members to help aid in their professional growth and achievements.

A few of Lindsay’s hobbies include reading, fishing, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs in the fall. Lindsay and her husband have two children, Wyatt and Raegan, and two pups- Bella and Bobo.

Regional Manager Ashley Bishop

As a Regional Manager of Hilltop Residential, Ashley is responsible for the implementation of the property management strategy that supports Hilltop’s Core Values in our DFW markets.

Ashley joined Hilltop in 2019 with nine years of experience in the multifamily industry. She’s managed many different asset styles and overseen a variety of asset enhancement projects. Ashley has assisted Hilltop with several acquisitions and dispositions since 2019. Ashley prides herself on team development and leading with Hilltop’s core values as a top priority.

A few of Ashley’s hobbies include spending time with family, cheering on her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys, or a relaxing evening at home. Ashley has three sons, JT, Mason and Liam.

Accounting Manager Brian Bogart

Brian serves as Accounting Manager of Hilltop Residential.

Brian is responsible for the preparation and presentation of financials, training of new accountants, and taking the lead on audits and other seasonal projects with tight deadlines.

Brian joined Hilltop in January of 2019 with six years of multifamily accounting experience. He has helped implement strong and efficient policies and procedures to help provide the most punctual, accurate, and complete financials. Brian quickly emerged as a leader for the department by helping to train and mentor his fellow accountants.

Brian lives in Houston with his wife Kristin. He is an avid fan of all Houston sports but especially the Houston Astros.

Asset Manager Amanda Borden

Amanda serves as the Asset Manager at Hilltop Residential.

Amanda joined Hilltop in the Summer of 2017 as an Assistant Community Director at Hilltop’s first self-managed community. There she led collections efforts, as well as assisted in day-to-day management. As Hilltop began its rapid growth, so did Amanda. Through her hard work and constant dedication, Amanda was promoted to Community Director at another community in Houston, where she assisted in its acquisition, stabilization, and very successful sale. While operating as a Community Director she offered to also take on the role of assisting Hilltop with all aspects of acquisitions, management transitions, team member onboarding, and preparation for dispositions across Hilltop’s entire portfolio. Amanda is always quick to lend a helping hand to her Hilltop family members, finding new ways to boost efficiency through processes, software, management, and information systems.

Amanda enjoys spending her free time with her significant other and four kids, taking weekend trips, and bowling (her high school sport).

Regional Vice President Monica Deleon

As Regional Vice President of Hilltop Residential, Monica is responsible for the implementation of the property management strategy that supports Hilltop’s Core Values in our Houston, Georgia, Tennessee, and Charlotte markets.

Monica Deleon has more than 10 years’ experience in the Multifamily Industry, eventually rising to Community Director with Greystar in 2015. In the fall of 2017, Hilltop Residential called on Monica, a stand out Community Director, to join their first community, Mason Park. In the fall of 2019, Monica was promoted to Regional Manager, successfully on boarding seven communities in a little more than one year. She was then promoted to Senior Regional Manager in 2021.

When Monica is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband Josh and 2 children. Monica is an avid traveler and is always in pursuit of the next adventure.

Vice President – Acquisitions Jordan Finch

Jordan serves as Vice President – Acquisitions of Hilltop Residential. Jordan’s professional background includes 3 and a half years as a Capital Markets Analyst at HFF. During his tenure, Jordan closed more than 100 debt transactions totaling over $2 Billion and worked on assets in 25 states. He also worked on the sourcing of multiple JV equity and complex structured finance transactions with a diverse group of capital sources.

Jordan joined Hilltop in 2018 and is responsible for the sourcing, underwriting, evaluating and recommending potential multi-family acquisitions, leveraging his transactional experience and capital markets contacts from his previous work. Jordan also works extensively with the asset management team on assets across Hilltop’s portfolio.

Jordan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Southern Methodist University with minor concentrations in European History and German Language. He is an avid traveler who speaks two languages and has visited more than 20 countries.

Director of Maintenance Josh Flores

Josh serves as Director of Maintenance for Hilltop Residential.

Hilltop specializes in the Identification, acquisition, finance, management, renovation, and disposition of multi-family communities in Texas and the southern United States. Josh began working on the Hilltop Portfolio in March of 2018 at Heights West 11th, and transitioned over to Villas at Bunker Hill in June of 2018. Supervising a team of 9 outside staff members, Josh and his team helped to establish the Hilltop Standard of 48 Hour Work Order completion. Josh transitioned to his role as a Regional Maintenance Manager in October of 2019.

Prior to joining Hilltop Management, Josh worked for Greystar Management in Houston. In a little over 4 years with Greystar Josh oversaw roughly 1,500 units. Over a 10+ year career in Apartment Management, he has become an outstanding asset to both the Residents and Staff alike, leading Hilltops nearly 60 on-site Maintenance employees.

Josh lives in Houston with his wife Elena and three children, Joshua, Natalie, and Ricky. In his free time, Josh is an avid Houston sports fan.

Support and Performance Manager Christina Funston

Christina serves as the Support and Performance Manager for Hilltop Residential.

Christina is responsible for supporting properties by focusing on property and employee performance, strategic solutions, and project and marketing support.

With more than 15 years of industry experience, Christina joined the Hilltop family in 2019 as the Community Director of our newest asset at the time. She quickly made an impact, leading the community to a fantastic start. In 2021, Christina was promoted to Senior Community Director after she led another Hilltop Houston community through a very successful sale. She then transitioned to one of Hilltop’s largest and most challenging communities, where she drastically improved the teamwork, quickly outperforming all Hilltop benchmarks in less than 90 days. In 2022, Christina became our Training and Development Manager and focused on the continuation of our leasing training program and successfully implemented the portfolio rollout of our CRM platform. Christina has always taken pride in mentoring and fostering the growth of her team members by developing their skills to ensure their personal and professional success, as well as the success of their communities.

Christina was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She is a hometown girl, always rooting for her Houston sports teams. Her three daughters are her reasons for striving for excellence in everything that she does.

Vice President - Human Resources Mary Green

Mary serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Hilltop Residential.

As VP of Human Resources, Mary is passionate about providing an exceptional employee experience to the Hilltop team. Her responsibilities include the recruitment, onboarding and retention of Hilltop’s top talent through focusing on employee learning and development, performance measurement and human resource offerings.

Mary has over 17 years’ experience in residential and multifamily industry where she was the Employee Learning & Development Manager for Venterra Realty and focused on teaching hundreds of employee’s how to provide a great experience throughout a customer’s living experience. While at Venterra, she held various roles such as Leasing Consultant, Regional Leasing Manager and Training Manager. Mary’s background consists of leading Venterra’s Training Department, supporting departmental initiatives through training, strategic planning, overseeing the Mentor Program, developing course curriculum and coordinating and emceeing their Annual Kick-Off Party and Leadership Conference.

Mary was born and raised in Houston, Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre from West Texas A& M University. Mary is a mom to her two daughters, Addison & Delaney who fill her life with lots of giggles. In her spare time, Mary is a Girl Scout troop leader, assists with the children’s music program, teaches Sunday school and serves as a trustee at her church.

Director of Capital Projects Clark Gregg

Clark serves as Director of Capital Projects of Hilltop Residential.

Clark is responsible for managing and executing on all interior and exterior renovation projects across the entire Hilltop portfolio.

Prior to joining Hilltop, Clark worked for a general contractor, establishing and growing the sales team, taking overall yearly sales for the company from approximately $5M in 2016 an estimated $20M+ in 2021. In addition to sales, Clark was responsible for composing scopes of work, training his team, and overseeing project management and overall performance. Before his time in the construction industry, Clark spent over 23 years in property management, holding a range of positions from leasing consultant all the way to VP of Operations for a well-known owner/operator based in the Houston area.

A native Texan, Clark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southwestern University. He is actively involved in the Houston Apartment Association, having served as a Director on the HAA Board as well as the Product Service Council. When not working, Clark enjoys fishing, golf and spending time with his wife and three daughters.

Vice President – Fund Management Peter Hand

Peter serves as Vice President of Fund Management for Hilltop Residential.

Peter is responsible for fundraising, investor relations, reporting, assisting in deal analysis, and managing the fund team.

Peter joined Hilltop in June of 2019 after working in Multifamily Investment Sales at Newmark. Prior to Newmark, Peter spent six years working in natural gas and LNG markets. Peter holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas with a minor in Accounting.

Fund Associate Connor Harness

Connor serves as Fund Associate at Hilltop Residential. He is responsible for fundraising and investor relations across all Hilltop investment vehicles.

Connor joined Hilltop in 2020 as a Fund Analyst serving the team in fundraising, building marketing materials, managing quarterly reporting, and supporting ongoing investor relations efforts.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. Following graduation, Connor spent five years in investment banking & commercial banking before joining Hilltop. He lives in Houston with his wife, Laura, and two kids, Ellie and Will.

Senior Human Resource Manager Lauren Holdorff

Lauren serves as the Senior Human Resource Manager for Hilltop Residential.

Lauren is responsible for helping manage Hilltop’s Recruiting and Talent Acquisition strategy and efforts, along with assisting the Human Resources department with Talent Management and various tasks.

Lauren joined Hilltop in September of 2020 as the Recruiting Specialist and assisted our teams in staffing all properties across the portfolio and Corporate office. Prior to joining Hilltop, Lauren spent almost seven years with Enterprise Holdings, progressing from a management trainee into Human Resources and Talent Acquisition for all of Greater Houston. She then spent almost two years as a Human Resources Business Partner with Goode Company Restaurants, managing all Recruiting efforts for all restaurant concepts and Corporate Office.

Lauren was born and raised in Friendswood, TX and graduated from Lamar University with a degree in business. She also completed four years of collegiate volleyball – snagging two championship rings and some lifelong friends along the way. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending her time outdoors with her husband Lance, son Isaiah, and dog Chloe, attending sporting events (Go Cowboys), or watching live music with friends and family.

Finance Manager Austin Justus

Austin serves as Finance Manager of Hilltop Residential.

Austin is responsible for the review and processing of Payroll, AP, AR, Treasury, and more.

Austin joined Hilltop in February of 2019 after graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management from The University of Houston-Victoria.

In his free time, Austin enjoys spending time with his wife, Anslie, and their pets. Austin is an avid Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboys fan and rarely misses a game.

Regional Vice President Angie Kennedy

As Regional Vice President of Hilltop Residential, Angie is responsible for the implementation of the property management strategy that supports Hilltop’s Core Values in our DFW, Austin, and Florida.

Angie has more than sixteen years of property management experience, with a background that includes marketing, lease-up, renovations, financial performance, client relations and overall property operations. Prior to Hilltop, Angie has held a variety of positions including Leasing Consultant, Assistant Manager, Field Trainer, Community Manager, Senior Manager, Regional Manager, and Senior Regional Manager directly working in the Dallas and Fort Worth markets.

Angie resides in Fort Worth with her husband Zach, her son, Ashton and daughter, Tanner. She has a love for the outdoors, from camping, hiking or enjoying time on the water. Angie enjoys traveling to anywhere tropical and loves an adventure.

Regional Maintenance Manager Ron Lange

Ron serves as the Regional Maintenance Manager for the Southeast region, supporting Hilltops’s teams in Florida, George, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

Ron joined Hilltop Residential in 2020 as the Maintenance Manager of Venue Live Oak in Sarasota, Florida. Leading by example, his focus always has been on his team and guaranteeing that the appearance of the property is exceptional. He takes great pride in ensuring his team has the tools to complete all work orders within The Hilltop Standard 48-hour window, which led to Venue consistently leading the portfolio in work order completion times, while simultaneously also producing great Show Units for his leasing team. His efforts contributed directly to Venue Live Oak having the some of the highest resident satisfaction surveys in the portfolio.

Ron transitioned to his Regional Maintenance Manager role in January 2022 and applies the same expectations and lead-by-example techniques to all properties he touches.

Prior to joining Hilltop Residential, Ron worked in the multifamily industry for 38 years and supported a variety of properties across the country. He takes this multi-state experience and applies it every day.

Ron lives in Sarasota, FL and is a proud member of the Parrot Heads, regularly attending events when he isn’t traveling. His family consists of Dennis and Sue. (These are his best friends) He has 2 children, Kacey and CJ.

Executive Vice President Craig Marbach

Craig serves as Executive Vice President and is responsible for all of Hilltop’s acquisitions east of Texas.

Prior to joining Hilltop, Craig was Venterra’s Managing Director and was responsible for acquiring its entire portfolio outside of the state of Texas. In addition to acquisitions, he managed, mentored, and trained Venterra’s acquisitions professionals. In addition to traditional value-add and core transactions, he specializes in off-market, distressed, mixed-use, LIHTC, value-add, fractured condominiums, adaptive reuse, and complex joint venture structures.

Before joining Venterra, Craig was part of Ernst & Young’s Real Estate Advisory Services Group where he advised several Fortune 500 companies and smaller businesses on real estate transactions and valuations.

Craig is a native of Atlanta and supports several philanthropic causes including the Atlanta Jewish Federation, Doctors without Borders, International Dyslexia Association, and Hosea Williams Feed the Hungry. He has been a volunteer youth basketball and soccer coach for several seasons and enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Pam, and their two children. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Georgia and a MBA in Real Estate from Georgia State University.

Executive Vice President - Operations Tom McDonald

Tom serves as the Executive Vice President - Operations at Hilltop Residential.

Tom joined Hilltop in August 2017 as Asset Manager and Capital Projects Chair for both interior and exterior renovations. Since then, he and the Hilltop team have created and implemented a first-class management platform for 23 assets and more than 150 employees. Hilltop’s management platform continuously creates opportunities to serve and to innovate, for the benefit of our Residents, Investors, and Employees alike.

Prior to joining Hilltop, Tom worked for a Dallas based multifamily owner & operator, concentrating on the reposition and management of assets in transitioning markets throughout Texas and Louisiana. As a Project & Operations Manager, Tom oversaw roughly 6,000 units throughout Texas and Louisiana.

A native Bostonian, Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. He is actively involved with several different philanthropic endeavors in Houston. When he is not working or volunteering he loves fishing, golfing, and spending time with his dog, Ranger, and family up and down the Eastern Seaboard.

Corporate Counsel / Director of Compliance Brooke Mirabi

Brooke serves as Corporate Counsel and Director of Compliance at Hilltop Residential.

Brooke represents Hilltop and its affiliated entities in all in-house legal and compliance functions, managing outside counsel relationships, and navigating all legal matters for Hilltop’s growing platform, including corporate governance and all transactional, financing and fund related activities.

Prior to joining Hilltop, Brooke spent her legal career in private practice in Houston where she represented developers, owners, operators, and investors in connection with acquisitions, dispositions, matters relating to land development and infrastructure projects, and development of commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments. Brooke is a native Houstonian, and is an active participant of HLSR, Texas Childrens Hospital, Urban Land Institute and NAIOP, and supports numerous non-profit causes, including Candlelighters of Houston and the Museum of Fine Arts.

Brooke graduated from the University of Houston in 2008, where she double majored in Economics and Political Science. She received her JD from South Texas College of Law in 2014.

Chief Investment Officer Max Monzon

Max serves as Chief Investment Officer of Hilltop Residential.

Max joined Hilltop at its inception and is a member of its Investment Committee. In his role, he oversees all of Hilltop’s investment activities including acquisitions, dispositions, financings and asset management. Max is also responsible for developing and implementing the company’s national acquisition and disposition strategies as well as pursuing new business development, including capital formation and strategic partnerships. Since joining Hilltop, Max has completed more than $1 billion of multifamily real estate transactions.

Prior to joining Hilltop, Max worked at Raintree Resorts International, Inc., a Houston, Texas-based company that owns and operates properties throughout North America. While at Raintree, Max oversaw all transactions related to the company’s real estate interests.

A fourth-generation Texan and native Houstonian, Max is actively involved in Grace Bible Church and supports numerous non-profit organizations including Living Water International, Young Life and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Max holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Real Estate from Baylor University. He is a licensed attorney in the State of Texas.

Regional Manager Lauren Moseley

As Regional Manager of Hilltop Residential, Lauren is responsible for the implementation of the property management strategy that supports Hilltop’s Core Values in our Florida Markets.

Lauren joined the Hilltop family in 2023 with over 15 years of experience in the multifamily industry. She began her career as a leasing consultant in 2000 and her fast growth, drive, and natural ability to be a leader allowed her to advance to Regional Manager within her previous company. As an innovator, Lauren played an instrumental role in spearheading the development of numerous highly successful initiatives around leasing processes, financial management, resident experience and employee recognition, many of which continue to be actively implemented and embraced to this day.

During Lauren's first week with Hilltop, she jumped right in and successfully managed to navigate a new community acquisition. She is already making a vast positive impact and brings years of expertise cultivating an environment of growth and excellence.

Lauren and her husband of 12 years love the beach and have lived in Florida since 2017 to be close to the water. In her spare time, she and her husband enjoy watching football as they are big fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoy traveling to national parks with 32 conquered so far!

Vice President - Asset Management Alex Rafieha

As Hilltop Residential's Vice President of Asset Management, Alex is responsible for establishing and implementing pricing, revenue optimization, and leasing strategies based on market conditions and revenue targets for the entire Hilltop portfolio of communities. Alex leverages his strong understanding of local markets, competitive conditions, and apartment supply and demand across Texas, Southeast, and future markets we enter.

Alex started his career at Hilltop as the first Regional Manager, leading multiple high performing assets in the Houston, Austin, and San Antonio markets. Prior to joining Hilltop, Alex was with Venterra Realty and was responsible for the management oversight of 5,500 units that covered multiple markets during his 10-year tenure.

Always having a passion for cars, Alex began wrenching, racing, and modifying his cars from an early age. When he is not at work or working on cars, he is enjoying time with his three beautiful children and amazing wife Stephanie.

Vice President - Accounting Jeff Richie

Jeff serves as the Vice President of Accounting at Hilltop Residential.

As Accounting VP for Hilltop Residential, Jeff is responsible for all property, corporate, and fund accounting and reporting.

Jeff joined Hilltop in December of 2021 after spending ten years working in various financial roles for different universities in Texas. He was most recently the Senior Director of Finance for Houston Baptist University. Jeff has a bachelor’s degree in business/accounting along with a master’s in business administration.

In his free time Jeff loves to spend time with his wife Marissa and son Jaxon exploring the Texas Hill Country along with discovering new Texas music artist.

Director of Acquisitions - Florida Dillon Selzer

Dillon serves as Director of Acquisitions - Florida at Hilltop Residential. Dillon is responsible for the sourcing, evaluating, and underwriting of Hilltop’s potential acquisitions in target markets such as Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, and other Florida markets.

Dillon joined Hilltop in 2019 and his previous responsibilities included underwriting potential acquisitions in all of Hilltop’s markets, financial modeling, and assisting the capital markets team.

Dillon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University with a minor in Sport Management. Following graduation, Dillon spent two years abroad where he volunteered and served as a member of the Israel Defense Forces. A native Houstonian, Dillon is a major Houston sports fan.

Regional Manager Kami Venable

As a Regional Manager of Hilltop Residential, Kami is responsible for the implementation of the property management strategy that supports Hilltop’s Core Values in our Houston markets.

Kami joined the Hilltop family in early 2018, with more than 15 years’ experience, and immediately took over at one of Hilltop’s first acquisitions and most successful communities. She embodies what it means to be a Hilltopper. Upon stabilization of her first community, she was tasked with managing one of Hilltop’s largest and most challenging assets, hosting countless investor and partner tours, drawing on her vast knowledge and enthusiasm for creating great communities. Kami has successfully trained and mentored many team members in preparation for their own promotions.

Kami resides in Rosenberg TX with Husband Jerry, son Zane and 3 dogs Braz, Thunder, and Coyote. They love going to different coffee shops, classic car shows, and visiting state parks.
